Our Story

Senza Gluten Cafe & Bakery opened its’ doors in 2018. Our goal was simple – by ensuring a 100% gluten free environment, we aimed to create an inclusive atmosphere where guests with celiac disease or a gluten intolerance could enjoy a beautiful meal and good company without fear of getting sick. We hope you’ll enjoy our ever-growing selection of fresh pastries, breads, and baked goods along with our full lunch/brunch and dinner menus.

Our Chef

Chef Jemiko L Solo (founder) began his culinary career as a teenager in Tbilisi, Georgia, where he learned from and cooked alongside some of the greatest chefs in the world. He carried a handwritten recipe book where he collected dozens of recipes he had learned or developed himself, the margins flooded with notes about ingredients and techniques. He had a passion for pastry arts and dreamt of someday opening his own bakery.

Several of Chef Jemiko’s close friends have celiac disease, and he made them a promise – someday he would open a charming cafe and bakery for them and others for whom eating gluten free was a necessity. All of the food would be strictly gluten free, so guests would be able to dine without worry. Chef Jemiko never wavered from his vision and believes that everyone should be able to enjoy delicious food, that no one should feel left out.

Senza Gluten by Jemiko Cafe & Bakery opened in 2018 and offers a wide variety of gluten free pastries, breads, baked goods, along with full lunch/brunch and dinner menus. Chef Jemiko sincerely hopes you enjoy your visit.
